From Lavish Gatherings to Alice Eduardo's Simple Celebrations at Home

Known as the Woman of Steel, Alice Eduardo is well-loved that her family and friends want only the best of her—including her birthday celebrations. In 2014, she was treated to a surprise birthday bash at the Patriarch Building at Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City.

The surprise birthday bash was planned by her sisters, Small Laude and Melba Solidum, with the help of their good friend, Nicole Ortega. The three planned the surprise in four days, telling their Ate Alice Eduardo that it would be an intimate dinner party with her parents, children, and other loved ones. To her surprise, she entered the premises with her friends singing the birthday song. Seeing the familiar faces in the crowd filled her heart instantly.

Prominent names in showbusiness, business, and politics attended the birthday get-together. Some of the well-known names include Gretchen Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, Ruffa Gutierrez, Pops Fernandez, Lucy Torres, Richard Gomez, Edu Manzano, Mons Romulo, Ben Chan, Kaye Tinga, Karen Davila, and more.

The guests feasted on the sumptuous dinner prepared by Cibo’s Gaita Forés. Everyone also enjoyed the music that bands Mullato and Sauce provided. She might not have expected the party, but Alice Eduardo sang and danced the night away.

Sisterly love

Alice Eduardo’s sister, Small, took to Instagram to show how much she loves her Ate Alice. Her greeting reads, “Happiest birthday Ate! You deserve all the best because you give your best to all the people you love! So blessed to have you as my sister. Love you” followed by a red heart emoji.

On her part, Melba shared a video of her Ate Alice’s celebration at home. Melba quips, “Cheers to another trip around the sun dearest Ate !!!

For this year, though, Alice Eduardo’s wish is simple, “Good health for my family, loved ones, and friends. For everyone. That is what is most important now.”
